I have worked with young people and adults, in both a creative and therapeutic capacity throughout my working life.

My background is in the theatre, where I worked for a number of years as an actor and director, primarily within physical theatre. During that time I taught drama and provided coaching, training and role-play in both the health services and corporate sectors.

In 2000 I began working on theatre projects with young people where drama was specifically used to illuminate personal, political and social attitudes.  This ‘applied’ use of drama led me to ‘Dramatherapy’.

Embracing the passion and interest I have in both the theatre, healing, and human potential, dramatherapy fulfills my aspiration for offering creative solutions, while promoting our expressive potential, empathy and compassion.
